S&P 500 Index - The Center of the World's Financial Solar System
The S&P 500 index (SPY and derivatives) rose 1.9% for the week of June 15th 2020. The previous week's worries were cancelled by this weeks positive news: the Federal Reserve announcing that they will purchase corporate bonds, researchers from Great-Britain found an effective and low cost treatment for COVID-19 and President Donald Trump promised an investment of one trillion dollars in infrastructures. The best performing sectors this week were the Health Care Sector and the Technological Sector.
The SPY was in a period of reflexion this week with little movement compared to the previous week's swings. The VIX decreased and closed its week at 35%. Meanwhile VIX's moving averages got closer to eachother indicating a potential and eventual negative cross which would make the market rise.

This week we decided not to add an option strategy to our support (that is currently losing in an opened position) due to the increased volatility in the market's volatility. (See VVIX)
